Morgan Brand

Morgan Brand is the government relations manager for YWCA USA, where she focuses on national policies relevant to YWCA’s mission to eliminate racism and empower women. Most recently, she has been heavily invested in the prevention and elimination of gender-based violence through the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act and the Family Violence Prevention Services Act. Prior to her current position, Morgan was a legislative aide for health, education, and disability for Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer. As a conduit for local priorities, Morgan seeks to translate the needs of advocates on the ground into productive public policy proposals.

Morgan is a graduate of Emory University, where she earned a B.S. in Neuroscience and Behavioral Biology.
